WordPressで地図表示機能を提供するプラグイン「WP Google Maps」のバージョン 9.0.47 までの全てのバージョンで、セキュリティ脆弱性が発見されました。
この脆弱性により、攻撃者が認証なしで不正なスクリプトを保存し、サイト訪問者がページにアクセスした際に悪意のあるスクリプトが実行される可能性があります。対策バージョン 9.0.48 以降への更新を推奨します。

- サイト訪問者のブラウザ上で、攻撃者が仕込んだスクリプトが実行される
- 訪問者のセッション情報などが窃取される可能性がある
- 被害発生の条件
- 攻撃者が事前に不正なスクリプトを保存している
- サイト訪問者がページにアクセスする
- 認証やログインは不要
技術的な詳細
この脆弱性は、以下の問題に起因します。
- AJAX処理での検証不足
- プラグインの特定機能（AJAX処理）が、外部から送信されたデータを検証せずに保存している
- 別の処理でデータを取り出して表示する際、スクリプトとして実行されないよう変換処理を行っていない
- 認証なしでデータの保存が可能
脆弱性の種類
推奨対応事項
該当バージョンのプラグインをご利用の場合、以下の対応を強く推奨します。
- プラグインの更新
- 速やかに、プラグインを対策バージョン（9.0.48以降）に更新
- 被害確認
- Webサーバーのアクセスログで「wpgmza_store_nominatim_cache」「wpgmza_query_nominatim_cache」を含むリクエストを確認
- admin-ajax.php へのアクセスで、上記のキーワードを含む不審なリクエストがないかチェック
