ビジネスディレクトリや広告リスティング機能を提供するWordPressプラグイン「Directorist」のバージョン8.2までのすべてのバージョンで、深刻なセキュリティ脆弱性が発見されました。
この脆弱性により、悪意のある第三者が認証なしで任意のユーザー（管理者を含む）のパスワードをリセットし、アカウントを乗っ取ることが可能となっています。この深刻な脆弱性のため、直ちに対策バージョンへの更新を強く推奨します。

| 技術的な詳細 | この脆弱性は、以下の問題に起因します (1) パスワードリセット機能のPINコード検証に試行回数制限が存在しない (2) 短いPINコードが使用されており、試行回数制限がないためブルートフォース攻撃に対して脆弱 (3) パスワードリセット要求が本人からのものであることを十分に検証していない (4) 不正なPINコード入力に対するエラー処理が不十分で、攻撃試行の検出が困難 攻撃者は自動化ツールを使用して短時間でPINコードの全組み合わせを試行でき、成功すると対象ユーザーのパスワードを任意の値に変更できます。 |
